Gibson County Fairgrounds Improvement Project
The Gibson County Horticultural, Agricultural
Society, Gibson County Pavilion INC. has completed phase 1 of three
phases to make improvements to the infrastructure and buildings on

Gibson County Fairgrounds Improvement Project Phase 1 of three
phases is now complete.
Arc Construction has completed the new 57’x 137’ 4-H Exhibit
Building and infrastructure for phase I.
Also in phase 1 was a 48’x 118’ Storage Building by Tri-State
We are currently working on plans for phase 2 of the fairgrounds
improvement project. Phase 2 will consist of building a 625 seat
convention type building on the upper part of the midway. Phase 2
will also include infrastructure and paved parking for the proposed
We would like to have plans completed by late April and phase 2 of
the project in May that would allow the wining bidder to begin
shortly after the 2016 fair.
Phase 3 would complete needed infrastructure improvements to the
fairgrounds open style seating on the midway for concessions and
widening and paving of the midway. Widening of the midway will allow
for additional parking for the convention building constructed in
phase 1. Phase 3 is expected to start July 2017 following the fair.

Fairgrounds facilities feature 32,500 square foot multi use indoor
exhibit space, 4H Exhibit Hall, which can hold up to 350 people.
Fairgrounds has several outdoor venues, including the Grandstand and
which can seat as many as 2,700 people.

multi-purpose facility that easily houses livestock and horse shows,
undercover car rallies, garden and antique tractor pulls and any
